Fleishig Kettle?

Question:

Yesterday I put frozen chicken in a bowl of boiling hot water to defrost it. Around the same time today(roughly 23 hours later), I poured boiling hot water from my electric tea kettle into the same bowl to defrost some fish. Did the steam from the water in the bowl, which is probably ben yomo, make my tea kettle fleishig?

Answer:

Your kettle is not fleishig. My assumption is that the hot water that was in the bowl when you defrosted the chicken is no longer in the bowl. Therefore at worst the bowl may be meaty, which would not make you kettle fleishig.
