Question:
What does it mean that one cannot eat before feeding his cat? In the morning it makes sense because you just woke up and didn’t ear anything yet. But after feeding the cat one can eat many hours until the time to feed the cat.those many hours hes eating and when the time comes to feed the cat again he ate before. But one is not allowed to eat before feeding the cat. I don’t understand this halacha because lets say we feed the cat at twelve so what is considered not eating before twelve. Does it mean we cant eat before twelve if yes then when can we eat lunch. until what time can one not eat anymore food and feed the cat. If the cat gets feed enough times a day what does it matter when we eat? its not clear to me until when i can eat and why we cant just feed the cat enough times a day.
