Tefillin with iv tubes

Question:

How should one put on the arm tefillin if a bunch of iv tubes are attached

Answer:

The main part of the arm that the tefillin has to be on is the upper arm, the place where the box is, and the place where it is initially wrapped around the arm. That part of the arm usually does not have the IV tubes on it. in order that the strap of the shel yad should not get tangled with the IV, pull  the strap out, and reinsert it when the box is near the correct place. That is the important part. For the rest of the arm try to wrap the straps where there isn’t any pipes, but if you can’t you will still be yotza the mitzvah.

H-shem should send you a refuah shleima!
