Giving ma'aser money to Gift of Life

Question:

There’s a organization called the gift of life.
It’s an international public bone marrow and blood stem cell registry. It facilitates transplants for children and adults suffering from many life-threatening diseases, like leukemia and lymphoma.
It’s geared mainly towards Jews but also caters to non-Jews.
Can I give masser money to them?

Answer:

You can give maaser money to them. This is because it is meant for Jewish patient, and even though it also provides services for the general public, that will not take away from the fact that they are helping out needy Jews.

Best Wishes
