Selichos of taanis

Question:

If davening alone, may one say the appropriate parts of the selichos of assara betewes before davening and not after the shmone essrei (e.g. because time is short due to work obligations)? And how about awinu malkeinu? Thanks!

Answer:

It is not l'chatchila but you may say selichos and aveinu malkeinu before davening. When saying selochos without a minyan you skip on the 13 middos, and on the statment of "uzchor lnu hyom bris shlosh esrei". This is these p[aerts may only be said together with a minyan.
