In today’s time is there any issue with woman wearing red clothing?
Answer:
There are two reasons why it is the minhag in klal yisroel not to wear red clothing. Since it is a custom of the gentiles, and because it is a color that is not considered tznius, because of the impression that it gives off. There are authorities that say that nowadays that the first reason will not apply, however the second reason still applies. Therefore there is an issue of wearing red clothing even nowadays. The poskim say that it is only an issue if it is actually red, and if it is the main color of the garment, but not if it only has a little bit of red in it.
