to say that somebody got divorced I would think that goes into חפץ חיים כלל ב אות ב that if you say this in front of three people or you say this in front of him then it would be okay( in a case that he got divorced 20 years ago and a lot of people forgot about it , and he probably would not find out about it with out you telling him, I think that people would not say this in front of other people not to embarrass him )DO YOU agree to my assumption that its very lightly it would be אסור ?

I do agree, because right now it isn’t a known thing, since people have already forgotten about it and are no longer talking about it.
