Mikva for man during 9 days

Question:

I’ve been consistently going to the mikva every Erev Shabbos & Erev Yom Tov for several years.
However, I wasn’t able to use the mikva one Friday this year because I was staying with someone in a hospital and only made it home right before shabbos.
That being the case, would I be allowed to use the mikva this Friday, Erev Shabbos Chazon, Tisha b’av Nidcha?
The Mishna Berura in siman 551 says “ומי שׁמבטלה לפעמים מפּני טרדת עסקיו או מפּני הצנה אסור”.
Does that mean that it is prohibited only if someone missed several times, לפעמים, and not just once?
Thank you very much.

Answer:

What the Mishna Berura (551-95) is quoting is the Magen Avrohom. The Achronim say that the Magen Avrohom only meant if the person missed because he wanted to do something else or for a different convenience, however if the reason he missed going to the mikva was because of an “ones” then he allowed to go during the nine days.

Shmiras Shabbos Khilchoso 47 ftnt 187, quoting the Butchtcher, Orchos Rabeinu 2 pg. 134, Shalmei Moed pg. 483 in the name of R’ S. Z. that the reason it is permitted is since he always goes except when he is an ones, therefore it is like his minhag and like a neder.
