Masser for my own medical bills

Question:

dear Rabbi,
I am not well and do to this we are a one income family. I do get money from social security and have been giving Masser on that every month.
Right now my insurance changed and is barely covering the cost of my medical needs.
Our ( mainly my) needs are exceeding what our monthly family income is.
We do have some savings but I don’t think it will last that long.
( we were also hoping to use it for a house eventually- it is very modest)

Do I need to wait until all my savings are gone or can I use some of my Masser?

Answer:

Since you don’t have enough for your financial needs, you can use the maaser.

Have a refuah shleima
