credit cards

Question:

I applied for a credit card under my name and I get bonus miles for spending at least $4,000 in the first 3 months. is there an issue with me having my father’s company charge the $4,000 for business expenses and paying the credit card from the business on my behalf . then I will accrue the miles quickly and use them for personal travel. My father doesn’t mind so shouldn’t be an issue of stealing from my father.

Answer:

That is alright because essentially you are the one liable for the purchases, and you are the one responsible that they get paid back, additionally, the credit card company doesn’t care who spends the money, as long as it is paid back.

Best Wishes
