lashon hara : clarifying question

Question:

Hello,
Thanks for your help. I wanted to clarify my previous question.
Is asking someone to repeat the name of the person they spoke lashon hara about considered lashon hara too (asking to repeat for the purposes of doing teshuva for listening to the lashon hara to begin with).
Thanks for your patience, I apologize for my confusion.
Chodesh tov

Answer:

If you don’t know the name of the person spoken about that is much better than knowing it, and it is much easier to do teshuva. Therefore you don’t want yo kow the persons name.

Best Wishes
