Question:
Is it lashon hara to discuss with one's friends certain aspects of a minyan that one attends that one finds unacceptable, in order to decide if he should continue attending? Such as if the minyan doesn't have asara mispallleim, or starts late, or ends later than is considered normal? For example, if one shows up later than expected to his host because the minyan ended later than normal, is it lashon hara to tell the host that the minyan ended late (even though the host knows the rav and will think less of him since the rav allows a situation where the minyan ends so late)?
Answer:
If indeed you will meet all of the seven conditions to speak lashon hora, then you can, however you already asked the question to people so just asking more people most probably is not really being done for toeles...
Have a good week
