I have a neighbor that is going through geirus. It is taking him extra long because he hasn’t been passing his tests from the beis din. He asks to come to me for Shabbos quite often. Is there any concept of hachnasa orchim in this case? can I politely shrug him off and not have him until he passes his bechinos and finishes the whole process of geirus?
Answer:
If he is serious about being a true convert, you should be mekarev him, and if he wants to come for a Shobbos meal you should not be pushed off.
