bracha on food not in house

Question:

If a bracha was made on food that is being eaten now does that exempt food that was not in the house at the time but was expected to come.

Answer:

Making a new bracha on food that was brought from outside depends if it was in his mind to include that food or not. In your case, even if the food wasn’t in the house at the time, since his mind was on it, it is included in his first bracha and he does not say another one.
