A Jew and a goy

Question:

BS”D

Is there a halakha that when a goy comes accusing a Jew, that we should not believe in goy, saying that we should believe in Jew and not the goy?

Answer:

There is an idea that a gentile, who is not obligated to do mitzvos and doesn’t have yiras shomayim, that at times he will not be believed. However regarding when there is a monetary court case or other things I am not aware that the Jew is believed over the gentile.

Best wishes
