Question:
I heated in one pot pareve rice and fleishig chicken.
I already ate the rice and I want to eat dairy now.
Is the rice considered fleishig so i Have to wait 6 hours to eat milk??
Answer:
If the rice was cooked together with the chicken it got a strong taste from the chicken, and the minhag is to wait six hours before eating milk. If however the rice was cooked after the chicken, even if the pot wasn’t clean, you would not have to wait six hours.
Best wishes
