mikraot gedolot

Question:

shalom aleichem rabbi.

after i’ve been studying cumesh for ~ten years i asked myself about mikraot gedolot.

the lor has flown away for a bris milah of a family member.

bilingual mikraot gedolot would be smart to start – don’t know if there is one set suitable or available at all.

yiddish could be fine – don’t know if the sets with hebrew-yiddish included are bilingual or just in use of yiddish in some paragraphs.

hebrew-english would be perfect – don’t know if there are mikraot gedolot of this feature.

could you help me with an advice?

all the best.
best regards,

Answer:

It is very nice that you want to further you learning and Torah knowledge. There are a few ideas that I can suggest. Try looking online for a seforim store, and ask them if they have any Mikraot Gedolot  in English. If that doesn’t work, you can ask them if they have single commentaries, such as Ramban, Seforno etc. in English or with English translation. Additionally you can contact Artscroll, as they may have published such seforim.

I hope that you have much hatzlacha in finding what you need and growing in your studies.
