Question:

When a person goes to a doctor, and the doctor asks “Who was the previous doctor who treated you?” and I know that once I tell him who the previous doctor was, he will start bashing him and saying that he didn’t do a good job, etc. what should I do? Tell him that I don’t know who my previous doctor was?

Answer:

There is no need to lie. Instead of telling him the name of the other doctor, ask him, “Why? What he did isn’t good?”. Avoid the question, and get him to talk about other things. If he asks you again, tell him something else. He will get he hint.

Best wishes
