Hi, there is a book on the halachos of Pesach, which I own, but which my friend does not. We’ve been learning together over the phone and I send him pictures of the pages we are studying. The inside cover of the book notes that copy rights belong to the author. Am I allowed to continue to take pictures and send them to my friend over the long term in order that we learn together?
Answer:
It is controversial, however in a case like yours, where it involved torah learning you can be lenient.
