Question:
When attending an early Shabbos minyan (in pre- or post-Corona days), with Mincha right before Plag and Maariv right after, when should a single man light candles? He can’t light before Plag, but he can’t light after also because he is in shul.
Answer:
This man is in a tough spot. He can go home during kabolas shabbos, which is going to start after plag, and light then, and then go back to shul and daven maariv. Altenitively he can try to daven mincha earlier in the day to avoid this issue. Alternatively you can make a shaliach to light for you.
