Question:
We have a summer home in another state that we move in to for the summer. We clean it very well when we leave and there is no food left there at all.
Is there a chiyuv to go there and do bedikas chometz before Pesach ?
Answer:
If you are not planning on being there for Pesach at all, and when you left for the summer you won’t be back there until after Pesach there is no need to go there and make a bediaka. This is since it is more than 30 days before Pesach and you are not planning on being there
Best wishes
