Regarding decorating with flowers for Shavuot, is it ok to have dried (real) flowers, or does it need to be cut flowers in water?

The custom to decorate the with flowers on Shevuos is to commemorate the fact that Mount Sinai grew flowers during Matan Torah, and for decorative purposes. You can use any flowers that you wish.
