Shalom, is there a halakha prohibiting the use of talis in Mincha prayer?
Answer:
It isn’t the minhag for the tzibbur to wear one, although in some places the chazzan wears one for kavod hatzibbur. Other than that I am not aware of any prohibition against wearing one.
