If someone moves someone else’s belongings making them an aveida is he called a ganav? To be clear the person does not want to keep it and did not destroy or change the item at all, only its location.
If it is a question of shinui reshus what if its in the same reshus, ex hiding something in a different room?

Answer:

Even if it wouldn’t technically be gneiva, he is still a mazik, and he is damaging the person’s right to use his object. Additionally, he is also causing the other person pain.
