B”H Thank you so much for your help. My question is: before becoming observant, I had a sports magazine subscription. I was recently going through papers from years ago, and saw paperwork indicating that the subscription at one point was past due/unpaid. It is possible that I paid for the subscription eventually, but I may not have. Do I need to send the company the money for the subscription to make sure it is not considered theft, or is that not necessary? Thanks so much.
Answer:
It is not necessary to contact them, as it only a question. Giving them the money would be similar to returning tier lost object, which we are not obligated to do.
