When the manager of the catering job is a goy can he do what he feels is needed to make sure the simcha runs perfect even it means doing things which are forbidden to do on shabbos?
Answer:
The manager may do whatever he likes... for him it isn't Shabbos. The issue is that the Jews are not allowed to benifit from mekacha that was done for them by the gentile.
