Question:
IF A PERSON ARRIVES LATE FOR SHABBOS AND HAS TO LEAVE HIS CAR RUNNING WHILE HE RUNS INTO HIS ACCOMODATIONS CAN HE ASK A GOY TO PARK HIS CAR?
Answer:
If leaving the car where it is can cause the owner a substantial loss, (which is most probably the case), it is permitted. Right before Shabbos it is bein hashmashos, and you may ask a gentile to do things for us in order to avoid a substantial loss.
Best wishes
