Photos of Rabbis at home

Question:

Shalom, can a jew we have pictures on the wall of the home, on one Rabbi of the city he lives in, or of a gadol rabbi of our generation in the living room, in the bedrooms?

Answer:

It is permitted. Many people specifically keep pictures of Rabbonim, and pictures of the people that they want to emulate, and this serves as an encouragement, to want to emulate their ways. How fortunate you are that you want to look, and emulate gedolei hador and tzaddikim, and not decorate your walls with baseball and football players! You are showing what you strive to attain in life, spiritual perfection, and to be a good baseball player.

Best wishes
