Can one save fruit cut on Shabbat for afterwards? For example, Could one save half a cantaloupe for after Shabbat if it was cut and started on Shabbat? Or should it be cut beforehand, leaving done for Shabbat and some for after?
Answer:
You can cut whatever you will reasonably need for Shabbos use. Whatever is left over after that, is not considered preparing for after Shabbos.
