Regarding mitzvahs corresponding to sinews- may a person have surgery to remove varicose veins if removing them has a potential health benefit? (as the condition may get worse over time, it would alleviate some discomfort now, and it would also be done for cosmetic concerns). Is there any issue in removing a vein from the leg if it has become varicose? Thanks.
