Shulchan Aruch states in 539 seif 14 that regular activities which we would nowadays probably refer to “banking” are assur MB sk 47 explains as this is prakmatia.
Any of these forbidden activities (so not in cases of davar ha`aved, perhaps examples would include making payments, transfers, etc.) what would their din be nowadays when its possible to do this online without physically going to the bank?

There is no difference. In addition, using a computer is only allowed per the criteria of hilchos Chol hamoed.
