Peeled onions

Question:

I peeled and chopped a bowl of vegetables, preparing to make soup later in the evening. I also peeled 2 whole onions and added them to the bowl of vegetables, placing the bowl in the fridge.
In the end, I decided not to make the soup that night, but wait until the next day.
I am assuming I need to throw out the onions, or is the bowl of vegetables considered a mixture?

Answer:

If the onions ere peeled after it was already nighttime, then the onions were not out all night and they are permitted to eat. Even if they were peeled before it was nighttime, there is room to be leneint here.
