What is the reason slotted spoons are permissible to use on Shabbos according to that view that allows?

Almost all poskim ( Shvisas Hashabbos Meraked 11, The Halahchos of Shabbos pg. 195, Ashrei Hoish O:CH 2-25(37), Chut Shani 2 pg. 69, The 39 Melachos pg. 439, The Shabbos Kitchen pg. 111, Orchos Shabbos Chap. 3-74) say that it is not permitted to use. See Ohr L’tzion 2- 31(10) who permits it but says that there is a preference not to.
