is it true that a nazir should take medication-pills only in life-threatening situations because they contain alcohol – how is it when he is from a physician’s mispoche?
As far as I know, alcohol would only be an issue if it is made or derived from grapes. Most alcohol nowadays is from grains, which would not be an issue. You can check if the medication has grain or other alcohol, by speaking to the company.
thanks for the answer, ha rav.
vows should nowadays maybe rather made l’shem shamyaim – not for the sake of bnei adam.
