Someone told me to throw out any socks with holes in them. Is this a superstition or halacha?
Answer:
This is something that I have never heard of. Additionally, it is not the accepted thing that Klal Yisroel is careful about, therefore you should not worry about it. For practical reasons you might want to consider sewing up the holes… it will also save some money buying new socks.
