Question:

I was holding money for my brother that our father left to both of us. The account was only in my name. I am not sure if he told his family about this money. My brother died suddenly. We had never discussed what to do in the event of his passing before me. What do I do with his share? Does it go to the widow or to the children? Do I need to give it to them at all?

Answer:

If you got the money for your brother, it belongs to him, and now to his hiers. I would advise you to tell this to his Rov and he will work it out for them.

Best wishes
