Eating meat and dairy

Question:

What happens if one accidentally eats dairy after meat and what about on purpose? Is there anything one can do to undo it. Also is it brought down at all what happens to the body in terms of health when one mixes?

Answer:

A person that eats milk after meat has violated a rabbinic prohibition. It is similar to other aveiros that it has an affect on the person’s neshoma. However like all aveiros, it is possible for a person to do teshuva.

The prohibition of eating mik and meat is a chok, (a mitzva that we don’t know the reason), therefore I can’t tell you what ramifictions it has on the body.

Best wishes
