Question:
I was babysitting four cats, three from one owner and one from another. The three cats from the one owner came to us often because the owner couldn’t take care of them well. One time my mom and I were babysitting them and the owner never came back to take them. She stopped paying us to babysit them and she never came back to get them. At what point does she lose ownership of them and we get the ownership?
Answer:
The cats belong to thier owner unless you know that she doesn’t want them anymore. It is possible that something happened and she couln’t come to get them or pay you. I would advise that you contact her and ask her if she still wants them, and if not if you can keep them.
Best wishes
