My mother-in-law passed on April 3rd, 2021 and buried on April 5th. When is her shloshim exactly please?
Answer:
Under the assumption that the burial was April 3rd before sundown, the shloshim is counted from the day of the burial (for those that were at the funeral). That day is day 1, and therefore May 4th would be the end of the shloshim.
