Question:
I used a PAREV ladel in boiling chicken soup. Is my ladel now meaty? What do I need to do to make it Parev again
Answer:
Thank you for your question.
You will have to kasher the ladle in order to make it parve again. Wait until 24 hours has passed from when the ladle was inserted into the pot. The ladle has to be cleaned very well, and after it is totally clean it can be kashered. Boil up a pot of water, and insert the ladle into it while it is boiling. When you put the ladle in, the boiling will subside. Wait a few seconds until it starts boiling again, and then remove it. Then wash the ladle off with cold water, and you good to go.
Best wishes
