Question:

I have read the answer on this site regarding using a wifi connection without permission.

If one used a school’s wifi without permission, there was a password but many students knew it, what should he do?

Answer:

Thank you for the question.
Repaying the school for what you used, depends if the school was negatively affected by your using their wifi. For example, if you used it during office hours, and it cause the connection to slow down, which caused the workers using the computers to work slower, which caused the school monetary loss, because the it took the office workers longer to get their job done. Then you would have to repay the school for the damage that you caused. However, if that is not the case, and the school didn’t have any damage as a result of what you did, then you don’t have to pay them back or tell them about it.
Best wishes
