Question:
If a ball or frisbee gets stuck in a tree on shabbos by accident and it can be removed without leaning on or shaking the tree.
Does the issue of using a tree apply to taking it down?
Answer:
Thank you for your question.
The ball that got stuck in the tree will have to stay there until after Shabbos. The reason is because we don’t place or remove things from a tree on Shabbos, because if we use the tree, we might come to rip off a branch to use etc. You could however daven that a wind come and knock it out of the tree.
Best wishes
