Question:
I placed an order from a Kosher restaurant through the Uber app and received someone else's food (I have no idea if it was the driver or restaurant's fault). Am I allowed to follow the app procedures to get refunded (I don't know if they take the money back from the restaurant or not) rather than deal with the restaurant directly? I assume the restaurant is maskim to working out any errors through Uber when they sign up for the service.
Thanks
Answer:
If this is the way the restaurant works, then as you write they agree that you can have a refund if you didn’t get your food, even if the driver is at fault. Therefore you can try to get a refund. Understandably, you have to offer to give the actual food back to the restaurant.
