Shatnez testing for same brand clothes

Question:

Hi, I recently bought a new pair of trousers for a suit which I have previously checked for shatnez. These trousers are a different size to the last pair, but are from the same suit, and contain wool. Do I need to check these again, or can I rely on there not being shatnez when I checked the last pair of trousers?

Answer:

In consultation with a veteran shatnez tester, it is not an obligation, but it is still recommended to check the other pair since it contains wool. Although the chances that the treads used was switched between the sewing of the to pairs is not large, it is still preferred to have it checked.
Best wishes
