Kipah With Hebrew letters in the bathroom

Question:

Shalom Rabbi, can I enter a bathroom or a dirty place with a kipah in which it contains Hebrew letters?

Answer:

Hello,

It is permitted to walk not the bathroom with a kippah that has Hebrew letters embroidered on it. However, if it has a posuk or a statement from the gemora etc. then it is an issue. Although there are deep secrets of the torah in the Hebrew letters, nevertheless it is permitted to take plain letters of words that aren’t torah into the bathroom. In Israel all shampoos, soaps, and tissues have Hebrew letters on the packages, and they are found in all bathrooms.

Best wishes
