Kibbudim for Sefardi Brit

Mazal Tov, כשם שנכנס לברית כן יכנס לתורה לחופה ולמעשים טובים!

Regarding the kibbudim according to the Sefardi Minhag, it is basically similar to the Ashkenazim. There is the kvater- the couple that brings the baby, from the women’s section into the men. After the kvater, there are optional kibbudim, to give others to hold the baby before כסא של אליהו. Then goes כסא של שליהו, then the Sandak. After the Bris the Baby remains on the sandak’s lap for the Brachot. There is a kibbid regarding saying the brachos and giving the name. Some split the two kibbudim and give them to two people. During Birkat hamazon, after the bris, there is the actual Birkat Hamazon, and the Horachamon’s that are said, which are given to others to say.
