Is there any prohibition against men doing laundry on Rosh Chodesh?
Answer:
It is permitted for a man to do laundry on Rosh Chodesh as the custom iof not doing laundry is specifically for women. The reason for the minhag is because the women in the desert didn’t want to donate thier jewelry to the golden calf, therefore they were given an extra Yom Tov.
