There are many seforim out there. One recommendation would be the halacha books from Rabbi Simcha Bunim Cohen published by Artscroll. He has on daily living, Shabbat, Yom Tov, and numerous other topics. All written in a concise clear understandible maaner. it is great website that teaches halacha on numerous topics, hashkafa, good midos.. all in a very interesting and entertaining way.
