If a woman is handicapped, can the shabbos goy light the candles and the woman then bless them?

The gentile should not light the candles for the Jew, because he can’t be the agent for the Jew[1] for this. What the woman can do is, that the gentile can bring her the candles to her bed in a safe way such as ion a tray[2]. She should light the candles, say the blessing on the mitzva of candle lighting, and then the candles can be brought put back on the table etc.
Asa side point, it is preferable that the candles be placed down when lit, and not on one’s hand[3]. Therefore, the candles should preferably[4] be lit while they are on a chair or table. (It is also preferable that the candles remain there a little bit before removing them[5].)
