My father’s Hazkara will fall on Thursday 13th January, (11th Shevat). When would I have to start reciting Kaddish.
I follow the Iraqi tradition. Would it be from Friday evening 7th January.

According to Iraq tradition, yes you are correct, you would start saying kaddish from Friday night.
